Membership
Membership
is open to all individuals interested in and who enjoy the
hobby of model railroading in a group setting. Age and experience
are not important to us. We offer the opportunity to learn
and grow in the hobby to each person's interest, abilities,
and skills.
We
generally encourage folks who are interested in joining the
club to come out and visit us. Come meet some of the members
and give us a chance to meet you face-to-face.

Regular members have unlimited access to club facilities,
are eligible to hold club office, and have voting rights.

Calendar
Weekly
meetings are currently held on the Second, Third & Fourth
Tuesday, as well as the First Wednesday evenings at the King
Farm site*.
Right now we are working on renovating the space for our layout.
Meetings are casual, and begin at 7:30 p.m. and usually last
until 10 p.m. Some meetings we will be working on specialized
tasks which require tools and other gear.
Occasionally we'll meet at a members' home to operate trains,
have a bull session, watch videos, view slides or work on
a layout. In this case, details will be posted here, or email
us for more info.
Please contact us for the most current meeting schedule and
driving directions. We welcome ALL walk-in visitors!
*
NOTE: during winter season we typically move to a round-robin
schedule, meeting at members' homes. Please send us an email
at the RMRS info address
and we'll be sure to get you the latest details.
Current
Club Officers
RMRS
officers are elected yearly at the club's annual business
meeting. Officers carry out various duties essential to the
club's ongoing operations.
Additionally,
the club has various working committees that carry out the
day-to-day club activities. These include: Layout Design,
Electrical, Scenery, Membership, and so on. Members are free
to join these committees to either learn new skills or to
put their existing talents to best use.
